Cheap Air Serbia flights

Information about Air Serbia flights

Air Serbia Flight Ticket

Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, operates flights to various Eastern European cities such as Belgrade, Minsk, and Prague, as well as other cities in Europe and the United Arab Emirates. Air Serbia's cheap flights are ideal for exploring Eastern European metropolises or other European cities on short trips or city breaks. The airline is headquartered in Belgrade and its main hub is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. It was originally founded in 1927 as Aeroput and later renamed to Jugoslovenski Aerotransport (JAT) in 1947. In 2013, following the entry of Etihad Airways, the airline was rebranded as Air Serbia. Etihad holds a 49% stake in the airline and has taken over its management, while the Serbian government retains a 51% stake. Currently, Air Serbia's fleet consists of 19 aircraft.

Information on Hand Luggage:

The regulations for carrying hand luggage differ between Economy Class and Business Class. Passengers in Economy Class (2 years and above) are allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 8 kg, with dimensions not exceeding 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Passengers in Business Class can carry two pieces of hand luggage with a combined weight of 12 kg, with each piece not exceeding 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Additionally, in both travel classes, passengers are allowed to carry one personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or briefcase, as well as personal items like walking sticks, crutches, foldable wheelchairs, duty-free items, or baby accessories.

Size and Prices of Checked Baggage:

On Air Serbia flights, a piece concept generally applies to checked baggage. In Economy Class, each passenger (including infants) is allowed to check in one piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg, with overall dimensions (length x width x height) of up to 158 cm, at no additional cost. Passengers in Business Class can check in two pieces of baggage, each weighing up to 23 kg and with dimensions not exceeding 158 cm. For travel between certain Eastern European countries, a weight concept applies, allowing multiple pieces of baggage with a combined weight of up to 40 kg. Weight concepts are also applicable for travel between Europe and the United Arab Emirates, as well as between Eastern European countries and Australia, where baggage allowances ranging from 30 to 50 kg (10 kg for infants) apply depending on the class. Sporting equipment such as golf bags or ski equipment can be checked as baggage. Musical instruments must be carried in hand luggage, as checked baggage, or on an additional seat depending on their size. An extra piece of baggage can be carried within Europe and between Europe and the Middle East for an additional fee of 60 EUR per piece (each subsequent piece costs 80 EUR). On all other routes, these fees amount to 80 EUR or 150 EUR. Extra weight and oversize of checked baggage incur additional charges ranging from 50 to 410 EUR, depending on the destination, class, size, and weight of the baggage.
