The small town of Billund, connected to the city of Jutland, is one of the major cities for the economy. The Billund trips are important for both business and tourist purposes. Thanks to Legoland, Billund is known worldwide. Billund has been part of Grove Church for a long time. This Romanesque structure was built in 1291. Until 1454 this small town was called Byllund and then it was renamed Billund. In 1880 a windmill was built on the road between Vajle and Verde, but it later burned. In 1897 the mill was renovated or rebuilt in the style of the Dutch mills. In 1916, Ole Kirk Christiansen founded the Lego company. He also founded a new Skjoldberg church and dairy a few kilometers away in the south of the city. Christiansen then bought the furniture company in the city of Billund and began making ironing boards, ladders and miniature toys. He discovered the Lego bricks from the scrap-ripe parts of the other articles and renamed his company Lego in 1934. In the 1930s only 300 people lived in Billund. Today Billund is considered a small town with 6,000 residents. To buy a Billund ticket for the flights to Billund, you need to look at direct and indirect flights.
