From the airport to the city centre
Transport in the city is relatively well developed. As there are many trade fairs there, there are tables so that you can easily find stops. In the main station there are trains between cities, trains between federal states, train (S-Bahn) and subway (U-Bahn). Buses and trams are used in the city. Hanover Airport is the ninth largest airport in Germany and is 11 km from the city centre. The S-Bahn departs from Terminal C and run between 01:00 and 04:00. The trams run every 30 minutes and they reach the city centre in 20 minutes. You have to get off at the main train station.
